Will you Step in their Shoes?

Mile after mile. Every single day.

Around the world, working horses, donkeys and mules work tirelessly in some of the poorest communites. We are asking you to Step in their Shoes and take on a personal challenge to help us support them every step of the way.

Take on 100 miles. Raise £100 for working animals.

It's free to sign up and you can take part in any way that suits you. Whether you choose to walk, run, wheel, cycle or team up with your four legged canine friend - it's completely up to you! You can set yourself a goal number of days to complete the challenge in or opt to do it in your own time. We suggest a target of at least £100, but we just ask that you raise as much as you can!

Raise funds. Receive rewards.

To show our appreciation for your dedication to working horses, donkey and mules, we will send you a Brooke t-shirt or doggy bandana once you hit £30. We will then send out further rewards once you have completed your challenge. See full list of rewards and incentives here.

How your donations will make a difference

Brooke is an international animal welfare charity dedicated to relieving the suffering of working horses, donkeys and mules. For millions of people worldwide, working equines are the backbone of the community. Sadly, many of these animals suffer from exhaustion, dehydration and malnutrition as a result of excessive workloads and limited animal health services. We work with owners, communities, governments and international organisations to reduce suffering and make lasting improvements to animal welfare.
