Please support my 11 Miles to Remember challenge

Hello,
I have a few reasons for wanting to do this challenge. Firstly, the Brooke are a fantastic charity which I've supported for many years. They do so much to help working horses and their owners. Secondly, having had dogs and horses for much of my life, I understand how much they give to us, and the importance of remembering how many have been directly involved in human conflict. Also, I've spent some time around the areas of Ypres and The Somme, where some of the most terrible battles of WWI were fought, and discovered the history of these places, which has made remembrance services all the more poignant.

More than 8 million horses, donkeys and mules died during the First World War. They carried soldiers, supplies and ammunition through unimaginable conditions.

That's why I'm taking part in the 11 miles to Remember challenge to raise funds for Brooke, the world's largest working equine welfare organisation.

Every mile I walk and every pound you donate honours their sacrifice, whilst helping working animals who still need our help today.

Please support my challenge if you can. Together, we can remember the animals who served and help build a better future for working horses, donkeys and mules who still carry heavy burdens today.

Thank you!
